Secondary education at The Grit Heights begins in Year 7 and continues through Year 11. In the early years, students follow a broad and balanced programme that builds strong foundations across all subjects. As they progress, learning becomes more specialised, leading to preparation for the Cambridge IGCSE examinations.
Our Curriculum
At The Grit Heights Secondary School Abuja, we follow the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) curriculum, which provides a world-class framework for learning and growth. Our secondary programme begins in Year 7 and runs through Year 11, with a clear focus on both academic excellence and holistic development.
Key Stage 3 (Years 7–9)
These years form the foundation of our secondary education. Students experience a broad and balanced curriculum that develops their knowledge, skills, and confidence across a wide range of subjects. Key Stage 4 (Years 10–11)
At this stage, students begin their IGCSE preparation. They have the opportunity to choose from a diverse range of subjects, from core disciplines like English, Mathematics, and Science to creative and technical fields such as Art, Music, ICT, and Robotics. With strong academic support and a vibrant co-curricular programme, every learner is equipped to achieve excellence in their examinations and beyond.
